A Word from the Most Interesting Skincare Products in the World, “Stay Moisturized, My Friends . . .”

Falling for Eucerin!

Your skin never gets a break. It works hard to protect your one and only self so it only makes sense that you try your best to keep this vital organ happy, healthy and MOISTURIZED! You know that stressed-out feeling that you get when the seasons change? Yardwork, holiday parties, decorating . . .it can get to you. Your skin feels the same “pain” with the change of the seasons and the temperatures dropping. Put it on your list! Take the time to moisturize AND take a few minutes to absorb this great information from Eucerin:

Bears hibernate, and squirrels collect and store acorns.   What are you doing to prepare for winter?   As we gear up for the busy holiday months ahead, don’t forget to also prepare your skin for the cold weather.  Skin stress that appears during the holidays can be the result of a lack of moisture, especially if you live in a colder climate. Good skin care and healthy lifestyle choices can help delay premature aging and prevent various skin problems.

Here are five simple skincare rules for keeping you and your family’s skin healthy + moisturized all winter long:

  1. Cold weather can be tough on your hands; be sure to keep a pair of gloves in your purse to protect against harsh winter elements.
  2. Relieve dryness associated with frequent hand washing by washing with lukewarm water, using a gentle soap, and applying Eucerin Intensive Repair Extra-Enrich Hand Crème right after drying your hands.
  3. Keep your showers short and sweet and use lukewarm water. Bathing for long periods in hot water can cause skin to lose natural oils and nutrients.
  4. Try Eucerin Intensive Repair Extra Enriched Foot Crème to help repair dry, cracked heels and feet this season.
  5. Getting a full six to eight hours of sleep is important for your overall well-being and helps your skin look its best. Get to bed early to get plenty of shut-eye

Great tips, right? As usual, Eucerin comes to rescue. And now for even MORE good stuff. The lovely, glowing and well-moisturized folks at Eucerin want to award one of my stylish and skin-savvy readers a chance to win an AWESOME skincare Prize Pack just in time for the holidays containing:

I like you both on Facebook. I moisturize after I wash my hands and after showers. I also moisturize before bed. When my hands get really dry in the winter time, I will sometimes moisturize them and wear gloves for a few hours.
