LUV UR SKN. Eucerin Fab February Giveaway!

Eucerin February

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I’m not a huge fan of Valentine’s Day. I am a huge fan of skin care AND a Fab February Eucerin Giveaway (Yeayyyyyy!) Put down the chocolates and put on your favorite Eucerin products. Maintaining a healthy daily routine is crucial for your skin’s overall well-being.  Here are some tips from me and Eucerin to keep your skin luminous and lovely in February:

  • Hit the gym!  Exercising can help you de-stress.  The increased blood flow from physical activity also helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to your skin cells.
  • Moisturize! In cold winter months, remember to use rich creams and lip balm to give your skin additional moisture and to soothe cracked skin
  • Catch up on some Zzzz’s!   When you sleep, you allow your skin cells a chance to regenerate.   Experts recommend 6-8 hours each night.
  • Cut down on the sugar!  No one’s telling you to abandon chocolate altogether, but processed sugar can contribute to the breakdown of collagen, making your skin dull and less taut.
  • Exfoliate! Exfoliating a couple times each week helps to remove dead skin cells and expose fresh new cells.
  • Get enough Vitamin C!  Vitamin C is known to help prevent cell damage, keeping your skin less prone to wrinkles. So make sure to stock up on C-rich foods, like guava, kiwi and tomatoes (I know our guinea pig does!)
  • Drag out the humidifier!  Believe me, it makes a huge difference. Being indoors in the heat all day can dry out your skin. Running a humidifier in your bedroom at night during the winter months can help.
  • Water! Drink lots. Need I say more?
  • Lip Service! Aquaphor’s Healing Ointment is the absolute best for keeping your lips soft without fragrance or icky flavors.
  • Ask Eucerin! When in doubt about what products you need to help keep your skin fab in February check out the Skindicator App on Eucerin’s Facebook page to get a personalized skin care recommendation from the Eucerin Skin First Dermatologists.
